We used the "Taxi in Volos" service recently for a day trip around Pelion. The service was of exceptional quality! The driver (Nikos) picked us up in the morning at the agreed time and we discussed the itinerary. He offered suggestions regarding the best places to go and seemed very knowledgeable about the villages in the mountain and the beaches.We had a great time and would recommend to our friends and family to use this service!!
After a 10-hour flight, Kostis was there waiting for us at the Athens International Airport terminal exit. He was very professional, with a sense of humor and kind enough to carry all of our suitcases.The ride from Athens to Volos was smooth! We managed to get a 2-hour nap as the vehicle was super comfortable!! Even though Greece was dealing with a heat wave, the inside temperature was cool and amazing! Kostis was thoughtful enough to offer us water, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. He even asked us if we wanted to make stops along the way to stretch, use the bathroom or grab something to eat. Upon our arrival in Volos, Kostis unloaded all our luggage and carried everything to our front door. We would definitely recommend the services to anyone flying to Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki or Volos) and/or would like to travel to Pelion (beaches and small villages) or Meteora. These guys are the best!!!

First he is an excellent driver, with a very comfortable car (with drinks), he is very polite, and speaks excellent English. He knows very well the region (being kind of native of Volos), and has a very vast experience in touring. He knows very very well all the sites, their history and all the good things we need to know. He was a perfect guide and took us to the best places. Therefore, there is no need for a licensed guide.
Nikos was also very flexible to us and responded to all our requests and itinerary changes we asked him.
We are very used to take guides in Greece and around the world. Nikos is for sure one of the top three we had ever !
So, if you look for someone, you just found him.
Oh, BTW, I forgot to say, Nikos will answer your WhatsApp messages within minutes...

I cannot say enough about Taxi In Volos. Kostis provided us with a beautiful and memorable day in Meteora. We managed to stay ahead of the tour buses,... read more riding in style in a Mercedes E-class sedan. We saw all of the hanging monasteries along the way, including some that were not accessible to those tour buses. Kostis, (and his brother, Nikolaos), are very knowledeable guides and dedicated to providing the best experience possible. More importantly, they are wonderful people. We learned much about the area, the individual monasteries, the art, the history, and about the people that live there now. We all laughed together and really enjoyed the day. We ended with a wonderful lunch, away from the crowds, that was one of the most memorable meals of the week...which is saying a lot. And, our tour was a great value, too. Communications prior to our trip were completely professional. Taxi In Volos delivers!

Our day trip with George’s taxi service was one of my favorite of our 10 day trip to Greece! From the moment they picked us up until they dropped us... read more off it was an exceptional day. We had a large party of 13 people so we were split up into three different vehicles all with English-speaking drivers who were extremely knowledgeable about the area we visited especially the monasteries which were the highlight of the day. We stopped at a lovely restaurant for a late lunch in Kalabaka. If you plan to visit Volos I would 100% recommend you book with George’s taxi service, you will not be disappointed!
