Great tour, great stories and we had a lot of fun along the way. We were traveling as 2 families and he showed us the best Volos had to offer. We had the most fabulous day with our driver Nikolaos - he was incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic story teller, adults and children (aged 10-14) thoroughly enjoyed everything he had to share about Volos and Greek mythology. We went to the stunning mountain town of Makrinista, followed by a few hours at a wonderful family-friendly beach club. It was such a pleasure spending the day with Nikolaos, one of the highlights of our trip to Greece! Wonderful service! They picked us up right at the cruise port in Volos; clean, comfortable cars. They provided cold beverages and gifts at the end of our trip. They took us up to the Meteora Monastery and then to lunch. Knowledgeable about the area & history. The organization ran perfectly by phone and WhatsApp, I was picked up super on time and surprised with two cool drinks. The communication from Nikos before the trip was excellent, particularly because my email program cleverly sent his original messages into Trash. We had no trouble finding our driver, Kostas and, with an early start, had a very good drive to the monasteries, visiting St Stephan’s, Varlaam and the Monastery of the Transfiguration (The Great Meteora). The drop-off and pick-up could not have been easier, and the monasteries themselves, their locations, their architecture and their interiors, were astonishing. (Kostas also found the time to return a mobile phone to someone who had dropped it along the way!)We had a very enjoyable lunch at a local restaurant and a good drive back. Kostas took us on a mini-tour of Volos and even found the Post Office for us so that we could post some postcards. Nikolaos was exceptionally helpful through the booking service, especially given that we were initially unable to give him an exact pick-up time. Valadis arrived on time, his car was beautifully clean and comfortable, bottled water much appreciated, his driving perfect, and he was an informative, intelligent, and interesting travel companion.
