We used the "Taxi in Volos" service recently for a day trip around Pelion. The service was of exceptional quality! The driver (Nikos) picked us up in the morning at the agreed time and we discussed the itinerary. He offered suggestions regarding the best places to go and seemed very knowledgeable about the villages in the mountain and the beaches.We had a great time and would recommend to our friends and family to use this service!!
After a 10-hour flight, Kostis was there waiting for us at the Athens International Airport terminal exit. He was very professional, with a sense of humor and kind enough to carry all of our suitcases.The ride from Athens to Volos was smooth! We managed to get a 2-hour nap as the vehicle was super comfortable!! Even though Greece was dealing with a heat wave, the inside temperature was cool and amazing! Kostis was thoughtful enough to offer us water, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. He even asked us if we wanted to make stops along the way to stretch, use the bathroom or grab something to eat. Upon our arrival in Volos, Kostis unloaded all our luggage and carried everything to our front door. We would definitely recommend the services to anyone flying to Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki or Volos) and/or would like to travel to Pelion (beaches and small villages) or Meteora. These guys are the best!!!

Nikos was our driver on one of our spontaneous adventure to Pelion. A very friendly man very informative. He made us enjoy the journey and feel comfortable. We booked this company during COVID April 2022, while at Port from a cruise. When I contacted them, they immediately answered my questions via email. We had Costa as a... read more driver (brother of Nikos), and felt extremely safe with him. He greeted us at the Pier before security. We were one of the first out and he was the only company holding a sign with our name. Other cruisers that we met on the ship wanted the same tour (Visit Meteora-full day), Costa called a Volos taxi for them, same price that was given to us and their taxi arrived within 10 minutes. They were extremely grateful to book with such a responsible company. Costa custom-made the tour for our needs keeping us updated with the time left and made sure that we were back 30 min before boarding time. As for Meteora? You will see more with Volos taxi than the cruise ship tour and will cost you less than half the price. Very comfortable vehicle. Meteora is a must and with Taxi in Volos is your best choice.

As promised Costa was waiting... read more for us as we got off the ship. He was a careful driver and knew all the best spots for pictures and coffee. He gave us good advice about accessibility to the monasteries. Highly recommended.

Nikos Adamakis was our driver for our Volos-Meteora tour. Nikos is extremely knowledgeable about the region in which he lives and can give great insight on the history and current... read more events of the locations you will pass through. He knows the best stops for the perfect view and photo opp! I do get motion-sick on mountain driving, but the roads are new and well paved. Mr. Adamakis is an extremely smooth and safe driver. While on our trip to Meteora, a member of our group fell and needed to be seen by a doctor. Nikos drove us immediately to a pharmacy and after to a hospital. He stayed beyond the hours he was paid to help us translate to the medical staff, answer any questions we had about the Greek medical system and offer support. He could not have been more compassionate and professional. It is always unsettling to be in a hospital in a foreign country, but Mr. Adamakis could not have done more to ensure we got the help we needed. I travel often and he is the best tour guide I've yet to come across. Bravo and thank you!

We read good evaluations about " Taxi In Volos", the business of Mr Nikos Adamakis, so in our last visit in Volos with the cruise ship Celestyal Crystal, we made... read more a reservation with this company to visit the Meteora. The car, a nice E-Class Mercedes, was waiting us in the port when the ship docked. The driver, Mr Adamakis himself, was very friendly, very fluent in English ( better than me ! ) very proud of his country, and knows everything about the monasteries.....including hidden places that cannot be reached with the busses ! We also spoke about Greece, economics, social, education.... We finished the tour in Makrynista, the nicest village of Mount Pelion, close to Volos. The quality of service is far higher than standard bus tour organised by the cruise company, for a price just a little bit higher ( when you are two people ; if you are three, you win because the price is by car, not by Pax !). Meteora visit is not the only service provided by Taxi In Volos..... We deeply suggest having a talk with Mr Adamakis before any trip in the Volos / Thessaloniki area.
