We used the "Taxi in Volos" service recently for a day trip around Pelion. The service was of exceptional quality! The driver (Nikos) picked us up in the morning at the agreed time and we discussed the itinerary. He offered suggestions regarding the best places to go and seemed very knowledgeable about the villages in the mountain and the beaches. We had a great time and would recommend to our friends and family to use this service!!
After a 10-hour flight, Kostis was there waiting for us at the Athens International Airport terminal exit. He was very professional, with a sense of humor and kind enough to carry all of our suitcases. The ride from Athens to Volos was smooth! We managed to get a 2-hour nap as the vehicle was super comfortable!! Even though Greece was dealing with a heat wave, the inside temperature was cool and amazing! Kostis was thoughtful enough to offer us water, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. He even asked us if we wanted to make stops along the way to stretch, use the bathroom or grab something to eat. Upon our arrival in Volos, Kostis unloaded all our luggage and carried everything to our front door. We would definitely recommend the services to anyone flying to Greece (Athens, Thessaloniki or Volos) and/or would like to travel to Pelion (beaches and small villages) or Meteora. These guys are the best!!!
Thank you Nikos for a beautiful, reliable, safe trip! If your looking for a taxi to do trips around Volos, choose Nikos. He was very polite, smart, thoughtful and nice. Picked us on time, arrived at the exact hour we asked. The car is also very nice and clean and COVID safe.
Nikos was our driver on one of our spontaneous adventure to Pelion. A very friendly man very informative. He made us enjoy the journey and feel comfortable. We enjoyed exchange of intellectual discussions with him while on the trip. Even pointed us to where the best traditional and most delicious greek foods in town is serve. Highly recommended
I booked a taxi through this company so that my dad, sister, and i could visit Meteora during our cruise stop in Volos (I highly recommend doing this in the... read more colder months if your cruise stops in Volos; there’s not much to do nearby otherwise). Our driver was Spiro. When we disembarked our ship, he was just a few meters to our left holding a sign with our name. Couldn’t miss him.
Spiro was an excellent driver. We chatted briefly during our drive there and back but for most of the ride we all napped, so it was a quiet drive. Keep in mind this is not a guided tour, so although we did ask a few questions about the monasteries, Spiro was not able to answer all of them (in fact he said he’s never gone inside any himself!). This didn’t bother us in any way. It was about an hour and 40 min drive to the monasteries and the same amount of time back.
At the monasteries, we realized we were out of euros (poor planning on our part). Spiro was kind enough to lend us cash to pay for our entry fees AND to pay for our dinner in Kalabaka after the monasteries. We invited him to join us for dinner and had great conversation. He stopped at an ATM for us on our way back to the port so we could reimburse him and pay for the taxi service.
If you want to be able to see the monasteries at your own pace and not shuffle around with the ship excursion tour group, definitely book this taxi service.

We stopped in Volos via cruise ship. As pre-arranged, Nikos was waiting for us with a big smile the moment our ship docked at 7 AM. We had an... read more amazing morning in Meteora. We managed to stay ahead of the tour buses. Nikos gave us a wealth of information and took us to see all the main monasteries, stopping frequently for photos and then to some monasteries where buses can not go. After our tour of Meteora he drove us to the charming hillside village of Makrynista and he got us back to our ship well before the "all aboard" time. We had an outstanding day and highly recommend Nikos and Taxi in Volos to ensure that you have an outstanding day in this spectacular area.

We pre-booked this taxi company for a journey from Damoucharia to Volos Airport. This is a 2 hour journey along very windy roads from a very remote region of the... read more Pelion. We therefore required a very reliable service (in order to make the flight) and we were not disappointed.
The company was slightly more expensive (€10) than another quote I received but I chose to go with this company for the multiple 5* reviews, and this was the right decision.
I was emailing the taxi company who responded very quickly. I was then given the mobile number of the driver a couple of days beforehand to confirm all arrangements. The taxi driver (Kostas) arrived 20 minutes early (which put us in a great peace of mind given how remote we were) and drove very very carefully around the windy roads.
The payment was all in cash on the day, after the journey, but the price agreed in advance.
I was very impressed with this taxi company, and given the length of trip and petrol prices, thought the price was very reasonable.
Highly recommended!

First-class trip to Meteora - My wife and I arranged a trip to the Meteora monasteries with Taxis in Volos (NAK - Volos Transfers and Tours), and we were very glad we did. The communication... read more from Nikos before the trip was excellent, particularly because my email program cleverly sent his original messages into Trash.
We had no trouble finding our driver, Kostas and, with an early start, had a very good drive to the monasteries, visiting St Stephan’s, Varlaam and the Monastery of the Transfiguration (The Great Meteora). The drop-off and pick-up could not have been easier, and the monasteries themselves, their locations, their architecture and their interiors, were astonishing. (Kostas also found the time to return a mobile phone to someone who had dropped it along the way!)
We had a very enjoyable lunch at a local restaurant and a good drive back. Kostas took us on a mini-tour of Volos and even found the Post Office for us so that we could post some postcards. Like most of Nikos’s clients, I think, we were also given a collection of local postcards and a print of an icon painting - a very nice touch.
We had a first-class day, and would have no hesitation in recommending Taxis in Volos to anyone.
