if you have time (eg till you get your flight), the archaeological museum of Thessaloniki can be an excellent add-on for this tour since the finds from the excavations are exhibited in the protective shelter over the royal tombs of Vergina and in the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.

That depends on what your preferences are. Usually, it takes around 1.5-2 hours to visit the archaeological. If you need more time it is not a problem at all.

as well as at Museums operating within them, opening hours from September 1 is formed, due to gradual reduction of the duration of the day, as follows: 1st to 15 September 8: 00-19: 30,

1st to 15th October 8:00 - 18:30 and
16th to 31st October 8:00 - 18:00.
